Desire conceived
Is a new life
A feeling most mutual

Strange eyes I've met
Non-committal and naive
In their tenements of clay
Dwell with false pride
Feet grope in the dark
Averted eyes blind
Lips that rub salt where raw
Hearts an utter nihilism divine
