Ode to an Ant
It must be a world of giants
For you my friend
So small and delicate, running around
As if time is at waste
You work all day in and out
Not stopping to take a break
You make me wonder at times
Of your strength and ability
You are so tiny but the weight to carry
Is enormous for such a little guy
A fellow like you should be admired
A fellow like you should be appreciated
For no matter rain or shine
You are out searching for food
Little friend I salute you
For you give me strength
To gain in a world that is
Giant to me
